Qatar's official religion is Islamic, 95% of people practice this religion in Islam. There are small populations of Christians, jews, Hindus, Bahias, and other faiths most of that small population are foreigners. It is prohibited to worship a non-Muslim faith in public. Privite worship is promited for christians and jews.
Christianity existed in Qatar prior the the revalation of islam. Quatar also has religous holidays, the main ones are Eid Al Adha and Edi Al Bdha. Edi Al Adha followes 40 days afrter Eid Al Abha.
